Compassionate Care
I am Laura Bridge and i have since 2019 been involved in the Funeral Industry voluntarily attending Army Veterans funerals who have no family or friends to bid them farewell. I work closely with Gurkha Veterans so becoming a celebrant was a natural progression. I trained with The Academy of Professional Celebrants and passed with Distinction.
My passion is serving the community and i wanted to offer my skills to families, bringing there loved ones story to life and celebrating together surrounded by family and friends or a quiet intimate farewell.
I will deliver a carefully crafted heart felt ceremony reflecting family values and religious beliefs or no religion at all.
I will gently guide you through this difficult time. I have been there and i no how it feels. Grieving is so hard. In this whirlwind of emotions, whether you are feeling lost, heartbroken or simply numb, you are also carrying the weight of planning a funeral. You do not have to face it alone.
Here is my hand. Let me walk with you for a while. I will listen with compassion and offer suggestions with your service or you may have a clear idea of what you would like. Either way we can collaborate on planning a service filled with love, comfort and connection.
I am happy to re-write the Eulogy as many times as necessary until we have the words to reflect your feelings and sentiments to really capture your loved ones personality.
Each service i write is individually tailored to your wishes and will be as unique as your loved one.
